Hello all, welcome to Fiction Friday! This is the second edition of Fiction Friday, and I’m glad to see both old and new faces here again.
I will say that I’m updating the rules to include non-fiction, even though this contest is called “Fiction Friday”.
But anyway, you know how it works, so let’s just jump right in!
Anyway. Baby, let the games begin!1
Warning: Spoilers ahead for those who want to first read these stories for themselves and then come back to read their review.
In First Place, we have “Tower of the Banshee. (Iron Age Prompt, 'The Calm' for 27/12/2023)” by
. I liked the suspense and horror elements while keeping it vague enough so as to not give anything away. You sire, did not do too much with this one. It hits that sweet spot and I’m formally begging you to give us more of Aes.In Second Place, I give you “Star Wars: Qui-Gon Jinn - A Study of the Most Self-Conflicted Jedi of the Movies” by
. I liked reading this article because Qui-Gon Jinn has always been my favorite Star Wars character and mentor. I still hate how he died for Obi-Wan. Overall, I think The Brothers did a good job with this one.In Third Place, I present “Into the Mines” by
. I honestly haven’t read part two but I’m excited to because Galin seems like a cool enough character and Michael became my instant favorite from ‘Into the Mines’, so keep ‘em comin’!In Fourth Place there’s, “I Asked 100 New Yorkers for a Dollar's Worth of Wisdom” by
. And I know it’s non-fiction, but I still liked it and this post is the reason why I expanded the rules in the first place. I am excited to include more non-fiction in the future. I just like how Anne laid out the article and how she explained the process of the interviews well.So that’s it for this week’s Fiction Friday, I hope you all enjoyed it, I really did like reading all these posts and in my heart, they’re all in First Place.
If you don’t know Jesus Christ, you can come to him and repent of your sins by reading The Bible I left below at the link.
And for The Song of The Day, I pick Heat Waves by Glass Animals2.
Anyway, bye and I’ll see you soon enough in the next one!
That was a reference to …Ready for It? by Taylor Swift, which I do not own.
I do not own this song or album, all credit goes to Glass Animals, their team, and studio. All rights are reserved to them.
Tower of the Banshee? Looks great! As to the article about Qui-Gon I forgot you chose that one, glad you liked it.
Thank you, glad you liked it and glad you liked Michael.
