Welcome back to The Life of A Writer, sorry for the wait, I just started University, so my life has been rather hectic, but I’m gonna try to get back on track with this series. Also, I’m drafting part three of my review series for 2023, so watch out for that. I think it’d be best to subscribe below to stay up to date ;).
If you don’t want spoilers for anything I’m about to mention, you can click off if you’d like, it won’t hurt my feelings. Everyone else, Bienvenidos!
Sooo, so far into the year, I have been procrastinating and pushing back having to make this post, because of school, life, and my own Instant Gratification Monkey1 running its course.
But I hope I don’t do that anymore (cap), and I wish to provide you the best experience here at my Newsletter (lie).
So on Sunday the 14th, I started watching a show called Young Sheldon2 with my Mom and Dad. It’s actually pretty funny so far, and my favorite character (besides Sheldon himself) has got to be either his Mom, Mary, or his sister, Missy.
Here are the three things I learned while watching this show,
One: Never ignore a child’s point of view. We see that Sheldon went on a road trip with his family to NASA in Houston, I believe, so that he may explain his formula-science thing to the NASA man who had come to his class and told him that rockets that land themselves are impossible to make. We then see a fast-forward to 2016 when SpaceX lands a rocket for the first time. Elon Musk is seen going through the notebook Sheldon had left behind containing the formulas and he quickly stashes it away before the CNN reporter comes into his office.
Two: Always keep an open mind about anything and everything. Sheldon didn’t believe in God, but when his father had a heart attack, he ended up praying (not to God, but to Blaise Pascal) and his father got well again. He took to heart what Pascal stated long ago, if you believe in God and he’s real, you have everything to gain, but if he’s not, you have nothing to lose. That’s so true, those are words to live by.
Three: Always make all your children feel loved. Why? Because Georgie and Missy always felt left out because Sheldon would always get all the praise. Their parents never did this on purpose, they just praised Sheldon more often because his achievements were impressive, and his siblings were just regular kids.
Moving on, I wanted to discuss Illicit Affairs by Taylor Swift3. I have started listening to that song after being curious about it, as I’m soon going to watch the Eras Tour Film (at home, sadly). I learned three things.
One: Never cheat on your partner. If someone treats you right, and if they’re a good person, you have absolutely no right to go ahead and cheat on that person.
Two: If you know you’re gonna end up breaking the heart of someone who loves you, just break it off if you insist on being a prick. There’s absolutely no good reason that could justify cheating on someone who was and is nothing but good to you.
Three: Cheating is bad for everyone involved. It breaks the heart of the person being cheated on, it tears the mind apart of the person doing the cheating, and it ruins the reputation of the person who someone is cheating with, even if they didn’t know the other person was with someone else already.
A person, or rather two people who have inspired me for this week are
. This is because they manage Warrior Wednesday, and inspired me to make my new series Fiction Friday. I learned three things. One: It’s a lot harder than I thought it would be to manage an event like this. I barely made it on time to my own Fiction Friday, meaning that I almost had to postpone my article to next week.
Two: I’m grateful for my community because it’s growing more and more. This is in large part because of The Brothers Krynn. So thank you, Bros.
Three: I might not have the energy to do much of other things anymore, but I’ll live. This FF thing really is time-consuming.
So that’s it for this week of The Life of A Writer, I hope you enjoyed it and if you don’t know Yeshua The Christ, you can know him by clicking the link below.
And for The Song of The Day, I pick This Love by Taylor Swift4.
Bye, and I’ll see you soon enough in the next one!
I got this from a TedTalk about being lazy and procrastinating. I left the link up top.
I do not own this show. All credit goes to the creators and studio(s) behind it.
I do not own this song or album, all credit goes to Taylor Swift, her team, and studio. All rights are reserved to them.

Yeah, the events are enormously time-consuming, it's why I didn't want to manage the Thursday romance event Elaine proposed. Honestly, managing two of them has been enormously exhausting but fun.
Your event is even larger so that I don't know you do it, and really think you should do what you love best!
